UTAB is a Swedish engineering company with extensive experience in industrial furnaces, heat treatment, and combustion systems. Our business has its roots in Swedish industrial history dating back to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and builds on the expertise and experience of several generations of Swedish furnace manufacturers.

Over the years, we have built up extensive technical expertise in furnace design, process control, combustion technology, and thermal processes. We maintain a comprehensive technical archive containing drawings and documentation for both older and modern furnace systems, which gives us unique capabilities to understand, troubleshoot, and modernize existing facilities.

UTAB supplies new industrial furnaces, retrofits, and modernizations, as well as services including preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts, and technical support. We help our customers create safe, energy-efficient, and future-proof solutions tailored to today’s demands for production, workplace safety, and sustainability.

A central part of our business is the transition to fossil-free and flexible energy systems.

We work with fuel conversions, safety upgrades, and the modernization of control and combustion systems for biogas, biogasoline, bio-oil, and hydrogen, among others.
